OK,I installed the console client and ended up with a dos box full of numbers and all sorts ,but it all seems to be working...and then just a flashing cursor..I closed the box or should I have typed exit?

Common error FD, leave it running minimized to tray unless installed as service if you want to close the client make it the active window and use "control c" to halt the FAH client

| There are other possibilities too! If you were to look at the command invoked by the service, it uses the switch svcstart therefore create a shortcut to the FAH***-Console.exe and right-click it, choose properties and add -svcstart to the end of the Target: line. e.g. Drive:\PathTo\Folder\FAHnnn-Console.exe -svcstart[Edit] This should not create a Windows service, just run it completely hidden in the same way as it's run when a service [/Edit]If this doesn't work, the more obvious alternative would be to simply change the Run: line in the shortcuts properties from Normal window to Minimized.
If either of these methods work well enough for you, you could always put the shortcut into your Startup folder.
