So the old 1200 just sits in a box in the spare room doin a Yosser Hughes. Fortunately I missed out on the joys of Windows 3.1/95/98/98SE/ME and think XP is actually an OK operating system.

At the moment my Amiga is tucked away on a TV/Video stand a few inches above the floor so isn't conveniently placed to use. I would use my Amiga a lot more if I had more bench space to have it set up properly.

RE: what do you do with your amiga

I use my amiga for allsorts.

Internet, emailing, gamig, homework, fun,

And most of all...

To be different

RE: what do you do with your amiga

I have an Amiga A500 but all it does is sit on a shelf

But I do use the Linux version of the UAE emulator to play games

Who needs Doom III? (Anyway all my joysticks are broken) It's a fantastic program once you get to grips with it and the difference between that and a real Amiga is negligible. Also you have the beauty of swapping your A600 to an A1200 at the click of a button, something I would have given my left arm for at the time!!!! Believe me its well worth checking out!!

See here:

http://www.winuae.net/

I'm not entirely sure what else other people would be using there's for but there must be people other than me that can still have a use for an Amiga even in this day and age!!!

Come on guys and gals let us know who you are!!

what do you do with your amiga

i am thinking of getting an amiga 600 or 1200. going to be using it for games but just wondered what are others using theirs for
