Sad so many people seem to think that it is serious, (and the comments are actually funnier than the article, IMHO). Mind you they are poking fun at rednecks.:D

Comments like some of those do horrible things to my faith in humanity (yes, I still have some).

I still wonder what the author what getting at though.
