Avira Antivirus.

A million times better than AVG for both catchment and minimal interference with actual workings.

For something like that, I'd stick with the Windows Firewall.

im not :doze: i am just very careful about what i put on it and dont install anything at all that i dont need and light browsing so i should be ok

i have the old AVG on my Eee 4GB which is slower then yours and it works just fine :)

little slow updating is only negative

I currently have xp on the advent computer or netbook just wondering what security programs are best for it since its not exactly high spec.
