﻿<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><rss version="2.0" xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/"><channel><title>Micro Mart Forum / Retro Computer Mart / Micro Mart Forums  / Acorn RISC PC help needed / Latest Posts</title><generator>InstantForum.NET v4.1.4</generator><description>Micro Mart Forum</description><link>http://forum.micromart.co.uk/</link><webMaster>forums@micromart.co.uk</webMaster><lastBuildDate>Sat, 10 Jan 2009 02:14:52 GMT</lastBuildDate><ttl>20</ttl><item><title>Acorn RISC PC help needed</title><link>http://forum.micromart.co.uk/Topic172522-24-1.aspx</link><description>Hi all,&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Please help!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I recently bought a StrongARM equipped RiscPC (RISC OS 3.7), but the delivery driver from Parcelforce just dropped the box at my feet and trashed the hard disk.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Since then I've managed to put a good hard drive in it and after hacking !HForm have managed to format it (can't believe they write the hard disk formatting program in interpreted BASIC!).&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I've found zip files on the riscos website, but I can't unpack them because all the unzip utilities require various modules like c-shared library, etc... and various paths set up, which I don't have because there's no boot file to set these things up, and no module-library thingy files on the hard disk.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;What I think I need (in order to unpack the zip files from the RiscOS website onto my Hard Drive), is a boot-floppy with the necessary paths set up in the boot script and necessary library/modules required for running the Spark (or other) unzip utility.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Can anyone help me out here - any disks sent can be returned and I'll pay for people's trouble,&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Thanks - Simon</description><pubDate>Tue, 20 Feb 2007 00:20:31 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>ExGeordie</dc:creator></item></channel></rss>
