If your temps are ok you can increase the FSB to 400, set memory freq @ 800mhz manually(set the timings manually as well) without having to touch the vcore(sometimes on auto it is set to high), Disable cpu spread spectrum and pci e spread spectrum if it applies to your board(mines an asus, not sure about abit).
My advice is to have the memory at 1/1 ratio, If you take your FSB back to the stock 333, set the memory at 667mhz and take the overclock from there. Ive had mine at 3.4 stable with the memory at 425mhz with my real temps showing at 44 degrees full load, you cant go wrong with an E6750.

warm regards

RE: My firsdt steps into over clocking....................Very scared ill break it lol

I'd set the ram to its specification in the bios manually. Then just keep increasing the fsb and testing with Orthos until you find instability. Then you can tinker with voltages. :)
It's very hard to kill a cpu as the thermal throttling will protect it. :)
Edit: You may need to set a divider for the ram if it goes to out of spec.

My firsdt steps into over clocking....................Very scared ill break it lol

Ok pc details

Mobo Abit IP36 Pro

Intel Dual Core E6750 @ 2.66gh

3.04 Ghz ram (4 gig but im using xp so take 640 of for the graphics card etc)

pc2-6400 (400mhz) according to cpuz

have upped the fsb by 30 (3 steps of 10)

to achive 3.04ghz

memory now at according to cpuz

456 mhz

FSB Dram 5:6
RAS# to Cas# Delay 5 clocks
RAS# 5 clocks
Cycle Time 15 clocks

I havent touched memory as the bios seems to think i dont need to so i left alone but seeing as its still stabel and idles at

24 C

i think it can go some more safely

Tips plz how to go on saftley and how far i dont need the power just wanna learn something new as long as it dont cost me pc
