The review also states that Mandriva no longer offers a free version. Oh really? Well actually it does (minus the codecs) and you can get it herehttp://www.mandriva.com/en/download/free. The latest release is bang up to date and is a quality release and deserves a proper review in your magazine. Yes the price is 69 euros for a boxed release but if your new to linux its a great start as you get a printed manual, 3 months support, and 3 months access to the e-training program. . If you don't need a manual or hard copy CD then a 59 euro yearly subscription gives you the right to download 2 releases per year. BTW did I mention that Cedega is included in the powerpack so that you can play some of your XP games?

Your review was also hard on OpenSuse 10.3, as version 11 is being released this week on 19th June. Sorry to be hard on you but this particular Linux Showdown was a waste of space.
