That would surly sharpen up your staff - and enable me, a man with a brand new child coming along in 4 weeks, the chance for MM to buy me a new stick of RAM, or maybe a decent MB, or even a Cray!!!

This subscription isn't cheap you know!

Mitch. ;)
Ah, I've got a child coming along myself in August, so I'd just end up winning...!

All the best for four weeks' time...!

S

RE: What went wrong with Issue 1009?

I think that would just make the staff surly. :D

Well, those that aren't surly yet, that is! :P

RE: What went wrong with Issue 1009?

Hi Simon,

Why don't you introduce the "£20" refund, for a mistake policy like FHM? I for one will say thanks for the hard work and keep it up.

Columbo

RE: What went wrong with Issue 1009?

I don't think I *could* clear my desk....:)

RE: What went wrong with Issue 1009?
TheEditor (20/06/2008)
I can assure you that we spend a lot of time getting the magazine right and in tact, and we're redoubling our efforts to do so.
Simon
BREW - get your *rse in here - and don't bother to clear your desk :D

RE: What went wrong with Issue 1009?

The grid I'm looking into, and we'll post the correct one shortly, and the next issue number was a typo, for which we apologise.

I can assure you that we spend a lot of time getting the magazine right and in tact, and we're redoubling our efforts to do so. The next issue page is usually the last page to go to print, and as we spent extra time working through the features last week, we had less time than usual to sort it. Not an excuse, just an explanation.

Thanks for posting: it is appreciated, and we'd always rather know of problems than not!

Simon

What went wrong with Issue 1009?

Why are there so many errors?

I spotted 2 in the first article, I've read the crossword grid was from the last issue and the "next issue" page refers to it being 1009 and not 1010.

Please don't get me wrong, I love the magazine BUT it would seem that MM has a serious quality issue at the moment.

What's going on Mr Editor?

Mart
