On my Windows XP box I get random crashes about 3 times a week. Never had a single problem on Linux. (Ubuntu Eee and Sabayon 3.5)

Only issue I'm having with FF3 is random crashes, especially on my work PC which has loads of addons.
This PC's FF3 is much more stable and only has IE Tabs.

At worst the crashes are no more than a couple of times a day, and not every day.
Mildly annoying, but not a killer and it has got better since the update.
FF2 was much more stable, but I'm not going back.

I have the same problem on many sites, especially this one, and find a reload usually speeds it up. IETabs is also an alternative, but kind of defeats the object slightly

Already running 3.0.1, sadly. It seems to be a wildly common problem -- other forums are full of it.

I've just been told there is an update to 3.1. Have you tried that?

All add-ons are disabled, as I'm running it in Safe Mode. I'd hoped that would cure the problem, but it hasn't.

Had very slow loading in Windows for a while, for me it was AVG linkscanner but unless you have recently installed it i don't see how that could be your problem.

BTW got any new add ons lately?

I've tried Safe Mode, but it makes no difference. Some sites -- seemingly random -- take minutes to load. The product is unusable. Lots of people seem to be in the same boat. Has anyone got any other suggestions?
