there is a pretty amazing program called dasher, which gives you the alphabet arranged so that you just navigate your mouse through it to spell words. I used it with a PDA, very nice, albeit a bit slow compared with a real keyboard

i have used it and as a temporary solution it works fine

You've tried the one already built into Windows, found under Accessibility on the Accessories menu?

There are probably loads, think more along the lines of a disadvantaged person unable to type but able to grasp a mouse.

Just like having the ability to use the mouse and left click on the Windows' calculator buttons, is there such a thing as a virtual keyboard for windows XP?
