I set it to "Never" on both, battery and plugged in, but they both reset while using the laptop, don't even have to switch it off for the reset to take place.

have you got it set to never on both battery and plugged in?

i sorted it with this changed but still had the display go duller after bit of inactivity. i had to sort that out somewhere else but can't yet remember as not using the laptop to type this.

Hi everyone,

My laptop keeps turning off it's display even though I set it to "Never" it just resets itself to what might be defaults.

Tried changing advanced settings too but made no difference. And Google didn't give me any answers either.

Any ideas I could try will be very welcome.
