They also got another award for the iPod nano. :)

RE: Apple wins two 'Black Pencils'

just what have they won the 'black pencil awards' for? the design of the products ?
RE: Apple wins two 'Black Pencils'

What about blueberries?? :D

RE: Apple wins two 'Black Pencils'

I'll give it a go. ;) Apple's suck and Oranges blow...Long live the strawberry...:P

RE: Apple wins two 'Black Pencils'
SirTom909 (16/05/2008)
an interesting article, suprised it wasnt covered in more detail by the media

lol watch how many people will post something on the lines "good on Apple for winning this award - i dont like iPhones *because* and i dont like iMacs *because* but good on them anyway
The media don't usually cover stuff made up by other media...as it's not real news as such.

and...I doubt anyone can be bothered to fuel your paranoia about how we all hate Apple kit.

RE: Apple wins two 'Black Pencils'

Yeah, true.

Did you see the report that this years WWDC is sold out for the first time ever? This makes winning one all the more coveted.

"One of the things that makes D&AD credible is they won't give an award if the work isn't good enough," said Jonathan Ive, the chief designer at Apple, speaking to MediaGuardian.co.uk.

"It is not about what is best that year, it is about an absolute standard."

Jonathan Ive is a genius, no doubt.
