I am not sure what the problem is there beako, but for reference, I used to have a 3000+ Barton Core with an X800Pro on a Asrock K7S8X MB (I think that was the code - if memory serves)and I could turn Farcry all the way up to the top. In fact it used to Autodetect at "High" anway.

I suspect that your graphics card may be a duffer, or the memory of your card and the screen resolution maybe at fault? Are you trying to achive too high a screeen resolution with a 128mb card perhaps? Is your memory set properly in the BIOS? Those Asrock's used to always autodetect wrong for me?
