When I enter a signature and submit it, the preview panel shows my previous signature, but the main forum shows my newly entered signature. There is no true preview facility.
Also, exactly how do I link the http:// etc folding widget?
It may be a no-brainer for script-kiddies, but I do all of my forums, e-mails etc in ASCII, with perhaps some HTM here and there as required.
Okay, I admit to scripting, but installers: Fdisk to rolling green XP SP2 hills in 20 Mins, is this a record?
What is the text-mode or IFCode syntax for embedding this F@H widget?
And to animate my Gif?
(You animate my Gif. ... Sounds Raunchy!)
I'd be tearing my hair out if it wasn't for this very strange jacket ...

| Why bother? There is enough space wastage as it is, what with long posts and flashing pix everywhere. edit: not directed at any one poster, just feeling grumpy.

Whats the point of an animated gif anyway, its not like it does anything interesting which would have been posted a million times on a million forums before.
The tediousness to other users is annoying after the same 'joke' is played ad-nauseum...
The folding sig information will be found in the folding forum under here: http://forum.micromart.co.uk/Topic76302-52-1.aspx
In the words of a wise forum member sticky and ye shall find!

Ahem, To get an animated gif, the gif file needs to be pre-animated. You can create them with Animation Shop, for example, part of the Paint Shop Pro package. I'm sure there are other apps that will do it too.

I am not asking how to animate a gif. My mother taught me that.
My gif is animated when I use a viewer, but not as it appears on this forum.
And, no, it's not that animated gif, mine's the futile rat-race one.
What has Fdisk got to do with XP? I use the term "Fdisk" loosely here, for brevity. I could have said:
I have a lovely little utility program which I use at the DOS command line or in a batch file to create multiple partitions and format them in about 30 seconds flat and I use this whenever I need to completely re-install XP which seems to be far too often especially when testing lots of bits of hardware which it complains about an | | | |
