Right i have a belkin fd5700uk and am on a home wirleless netowrk with WEP security, ive been connected up to the wireless network (a belkin hsm router) for a few weeks and everythings been fine. Ive been able to get the internet and share files with the others on the network.
However now ive lost the ability to share documents or printer but still have internet and can even music share with itunes. Ive uninstalled my firewall and run the network wizard many times to ensure printer and file sharing is on. But still no luck. The only thing i can think of is that i havent activated windows yet. would that affect it?
I'm using zonelabs firewall and AVG antivirus with spysweeper too. Anyone know of something i can do to rectify it? i could just reinstall everything and activate windows but i'd rather know what was going wrong!!!

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Hoepfully it's as simple as the problem I get now and again.
Double check that your other pc/pc's havn't changed their IP addresses, mine do it all the time.
One day my daughter's pc is talking quite nicely to the main one, the next day she can connect up to the net (wireless router) but she can't see my pc and I can't see hers.
A quick ipconfig via dos prompt on her pc shows that the address has changed.
Go into zone alarm on my pc,change the address and it all works again.
