Using ROMs (game code) that you don't actually own is illegal. I'm afraid that information on obtaining them isn't something that any magazine (or forums associated with any magazine) is likely to give you.

Just get a good popup-blocker and adblocker set up before you go searching - some sites are terrible about that.
'Come down from your swell co-ops, you general partners and merger lawyers! It's the Third World down there! Puerto Ricans, West Indians, Haitians, Dominicans, Cubans, Colombians, Hondurans, Koreans, Chinese, Thais, Vietnamese, Ecuadorians, Panamanians, Filipinos, Albanians, Senegalese and Afro-Americans! Go visit the frontiers, you gutless wonders!'

Floppies (Amiga or ST) are hard to convert as the controller for the floppy drive is completely different to the PC type (for example a Yamaha chip on the ST was used to control an ST's floppy drive as well as provide chip ( ) music or sounds, and are not compatible.
And...
You must own the same Kickstart ROM that you wish to use on your emulator, and own the Workbench that you use on the emulator to use certain Amiga software. You will have convert your own Kickstart to emulator format to be able to use your purchased software on an emulator.
Don't go searching for software that you own for any system for use on an emulator, as the sites you will land on will be most certainly host nasties. There are sites that pay homage to retro computing (and have been in MM) that do endeavour to relive the days of such machines, (and also do not condone piracy of said software) have a look round those kind of sites instead.
*Mod's, please delete if you feel this is inappropriate.
5 CC wins, and proud of my messy dive!
