Slipstreem (15/01/2008)
I've never had a single ATI driver related problem under Windows in over 15 years of using them.
But you're not the only PC user on the planet.
Just because you have not experienced any particular PC problem doesn't mean that the problem doesn't exist.
These two links give an indication of the genuine difference between ATI and NVidia's Windows driver support:
ATI http://tinyurl.com/2wj9fm 2.56 million
NVidia http://tinyurl.com/3bhbwp 0.4 million
Back on topic, If I was building a Green PC I would use a Celeron 420 and Intel on-board graphics, or a Via C7.

Hi Folks
To achieve a greener PC (and reduce leccy bills) I do
wonder how much scope there is for under-clocking ?
(I guess that it's only possible with modern devices
that support over-clocking.)
Edit PS - Cancel that question, the Green PC thread
seems to be looking at just that !
