Hi All,

I don't use Windows IE, and just lately I've noticed that my browsers of choice have now got even more limited functionality on these forums.

As an example i'm no longer able to use the IFCode Shortcuts to the left of the message screen when posting replies.

This is irrespective of which operating system or browser I'm using.

Of course i'm only assuming that Windows IE works with the forums.

It could of course be a general glitch.

Every few months we seem to have these interesting times, spell checker, log in,300+ members logged in,I am sure an answer will be forthcoming, but it does happen regular, would it not be better to get it working and then leave it be,not everything needs an *upgrade*.

Sorry about this; it seems that recent Microsoft updates have caused some problems along the line, and the chatroom and forum are both getting small upgrades to fix the issues. This should be complete in the next day or two with - touch wood - the minimum of disruption.

It'll also sort the problem over Christmas of the forum going up and down faster than [insert your own analogy here].

Sorry for any inconvenience,

Simon

Don't know if it's related, but I'm not getting any headers for the forum. e.g. this thread is titled 'Things no longer working?' but in the title bar and tab bar it just shows the address - http://forum.micromart.co.uk/Post.aspx?SessionID=bz2uka45mdkxsy55kd41jx45

It's not a major problem when just browsing, but when it's coupled up with the lack of information in the notification emails, it's getting to be a real pain trying to keep up with what's been posted

It serves you right for using software that relies on ASP
