Hello all, I'm in need of some help. I have a couple of old windows 98se laptops im trying to connect to the internet wireless. Problem is the netgear icon shows im connected to my router which is all well and good. But when i try to conect to the internet i just get the usual cant display page error. These are fresh installs of 98se but Ive also tried ME and 2000 with out any joy. Xp though does work fine but themachines run way to slow with xp on.
any help much appreciated

This quite often comes down to WEP key errors.
I presume you have set IP addressing to automatic?
Run winipcfg to see if you are picking up an IP address.
