Why don't we have a Bi-weekly or if that is not possible why not Monthly article about the folding at home teem with regular updates on how the team is doing, personal mile stones and the top folders of the month.

any suggestions on how to improve this are appreciated.

Hugh

I agree, but, it seems we're lucky if we get biyearly articles.
Certainly more coverage than is current is a must and would benefit the team and the cause, which can only be a good thing.

It needs someone within the team to write it -- that's part of the problem. Another problem is that the majority of the readership don't fold (with most of those who would be swayed having been already swayed).

When the last small article came out a couple of months ago, we had nearly a 25% increase in active folders within the week with most being new folders. Granted that wouldn't happen if there was article ever other week but it does help.
A little catch up every other month maybe?
As you said though Jas, finding someone to write it seems to be the problem.

Phil.

That's the rub, I fear. If you can find someone willing to put in the time (someone who can write), contact Simon directly. Until then, though, it's going to be a very hard sell.

If we cannot find someone willing to write the article then maybe, we could have a few people who each get a part to research and write for the article.

Hmm. The trouble with that is drawing all the strings together. Getting a piece of work in every work or every fortnight is tough enough for one person (well, for me!), but getting several people to co-operate and all come together on time would be very tough indeed. Not impossible, but it would require tremendous dedication. That's not meant to put anybody off, but is the reality.

been watching this with interest, as i have offered to try and do something like this before one idea that springs to mind is "diary of a folding addict" writtenn in a blog style. a why we fold article where people can give a little synopsis of why and with what they fold. a world tour of folding teams and the strange characters attracted to folding and there are many of them.
