Early in march I signed up for the broad band package with free wireless router. My line initialization date was the 2nd April. By this date I had received nothing. After a call to them I was told the router would be sent immediately. Yesterday I received a usb modem!

I can't seem to get through on the phone lines and the customer complaints e-mail address is invalid!!!

Useless advice No 3571

If you can't connect to your ISP and therefore have no means of accessing the internet, simply log on to your ISPs Website and use their 'how to contact us' section which you'll discover therein.

If in doubt stop the direct debit and write to where?

I use Tiscali as my ISP, from an overall technical point of view, the service is excellent, but when you do get problems, the frontline technical (and I use the term loosely) support ops are little more than trained chimpanzees.

They have now conceded that the mac code is neither here nor there as the line has been canceled or something and their higher tech people are setting it up manually. Then they'll send the router...I hope.
