Well the routers at the post office so I tried the (urgh) usb modem. Just over 4Mb it is! Thats a full meg better than AOL. I don't download much so it will do me fine.  Just hope it's a wireless router at the post office and not a larger usb modem! (The first one came through the letter box.)

I FINALLY HAVE A WIRELESS ROUTER TO CALL MY OWN!!! But now I have a new gripe with the lazy asssed postman who put the red card in my letter box when it blatantly would have fit...Grrrr.

At least I got there eventually...Surmising the router works...Only plugged it in to check.

i agree with the guys a few posts back, i didn't like all i was reading about tiscali and knew first hand how expertly throttle your broadband even when you hardly use the BL***DY thing. i went to Be as soon as the tiscali contract finished and so far brilliant service, admittedly online as i haven't had to call them and excellent connection and free wireless router. up to 8mb for £14.99 pm
