Some great 'back to basics' tips, in the 'PC Emergency' article, but I really enjoyed the bit about cooling down hot, failing hard drives by sticking them in the fridge. Wink

(Sounds like a useful tip learned from very early Seagate server drives, that used to run so hot you could almost fry on them Smile

)

Funnily enough one day at work a woman told me the story of her son's XBox 360, which kept overheating. A good hour or so in the fridge and it would run for another ten minutes or so, apparently. I am assuming the family had Micro Chips for dinner most nights.
