Will it work on Linux? Expect an avalanche of complaints if it doesn't...

Well, maybe a small trickle - loud, but small. (If it doesn't I'll just reboot into XP )

it would be interesting to have a vote to see how many users are using it and how many windows etc

Yes it would be interesting, but you would need several options, because some people use both Windows and Linux, in varying degrees, in different incarnations, and in varying situations- for example, I use Mac, XP, 2000, 2003, Redhat, Suse and DSL at work, but only Suse and Mythbuntu Linux at home- although that is probably an extreme example, it would be interesting to see what OS(es) people use on a daily basis.

Maybe a reader survey?

how do you keep track of all of them maybe a primary OS and a secondary to give a better overview of the OS's in use, or better yet you get a vote for each PC you use because i use 4-5 computers and they all run XP.

but the primary and secondary OS would be easier and if you just use windows you can put it as your secondary as well to keep the results reflective of the users OS's

That'll teach me to come into the forum more often and keep up to date... I just been to Asda and picked up my copy of this weeks and thought they were all for keeping my free cd from me, i was nearly having an argument with the lady in the store, stating "there was meant to be a CD with this magazine this week what have you done with them? are you not putting them out on the shelves for some reason?"...

Ooops

So, I guess that means that next week, we will have a CD with the absence of a Windows OS bias then??

Many Thanks John
