Hi all, got a bit of a problem with a SD card.

Got a SanDisk Extreme 2GB standard SD card last year, it was working fine up until about a month of so ago when I came back to use it in my digital camera (Lumix FZ7) when I found I would not hold any pictures. Put it into my Pc and the last pictures taken on it just will not delete, I Have tried just about everything I can thing of, every programme I can get my hands on, even tried formatting it on different computers and operation systems, (Lunix, vista and macs) Nothing works. I wouldn't be so bothered if it was a cheap card, but its not...

Please help before I take a hammer to it, many thanks.

If you fail the first time call it version 1.0...

Make sure the card isn't locked.

On the side is a small slide switch will lock the card, basically to stop you deleting the content.
Never had a problem with Sandisk cards, except one a Sandisk 1gb Ultra 2 playing up some time ago, my fault though, but I returned to Sandisk, and they replaced FOC

So, it's worth contacting them.

Hey guys, yeah iv checked the lock on the side, its not that, I did contact sandisk, they gave me some help, but eneded up with them passing me off to some 3rd party retailer who then pass me off again. i gave up! but i have contacted another company about it and they say to send them the card and check to see if its working correctly, they might be able to replace it with sandisk....going round the houses much?

thanks tho!
