Hi all, just gone back to BT, and after a struggle with the Technical Help line to get the router working had to use Firefox as Internet Explorer wouldn't cooperate. Now the mouse pointer moves like it's stuck to the screen, and even typing I'm words ahead of it (using 2 fingers) Is it always this bad?....IE was like lightening to this thing......
Think the Fox has been hit by a car....

Nothing wrong with mine...sounds like yours has a problem though. Tried reinstalling?

Found out what was wrong........
Computer needed reboot following BT's control of it, must have sucked out all available memory...up and working again and Firefox ain't bad......

| Make the fox quicker... To speed up Firefox:
If you have a broadband connection (and most of us do), you can use pipelining to speed up your page loads. This allows Firefox to load multiple things on a page at once, instead of one at a time (by default, it’s optimized for dialup connections). Here’s how: * Type “about:config” into the address bar and hit return. Type “network.http” in the filter field, and change the following settings (double-click on them to change them):
* Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true”
* Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”
* Set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to a number like 30. This will allow it to make 30 requests at once.
* Also, right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0?. This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives.

Cheers Wiz, done all that, but still getting the stickiness with mouse pointer movement and selecting anything (sometimes have to click twice) right click 2 or 3 times to get options....weird, don't really want to reinstall as was done automatically by BT and setup, and was on the phone for an hour....just as well it was 0800 number.......
Looks like it needs more memory or just a reboot at regular intervals ......
Never happened with same setup before...even after hours of surfing.
