A Toshiba laptop running Vista.

I can ping the router and bbc.co.uk/google.co.uk as well as receive Emails through Windows Mail. However I can't connect to the net through either IE7 or FF2. I can't even browse to the router's page.

I've turned off the firewall, but still can't get a web page to load.

I've done a system restore, and still no joy.

Any ideas?

Have you had a look in the browser settings? Make sure it connects directly to the internet.

Intel e7200 @ 4.0GHz (4.32GHz SuperPi(e)) Lapped
Asus P5E-VM (Vdroop pencil modded)
4Gb Patriot Pc6400 4-4-4-12

Sapphire ATI 3870/Akasa Vortexx Neo
Enermax 600 Watt PSU
Ubuntu/Win XP
All in a Thermaltake Handbag...
Or flying @ 4.21GHz in the Stacker.

It was a problem with update KB947864. I removed that and could connect again.
