Too true!

Cheers, Slipstreem.

System specs: "Phoenix" - Intel C2D E4500 overclocked to 3GHz with ACF7Pro HSF on Volt-modded ASRock 775Dual-VSTA mobo (modded BIOS rev 3.10A and VNB=1.65, Vagp=1.8), 2x1GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 RAM (3.0,3,3,8,1T @546MHz), Sapphire ATI HD3870 512MB GDDR4 PCIe graphics card overclocked to 850MHz GPU & 2.4GHz RAM. Powered by Hiper Type-M 580W PSU. Guess who likes overclocking on a budget.

Hello, Im now running this at 3.8ghz(1.3375) reasonably stable but keeps restarting(asus recovery) during games, Think it might be NB/SB voltages as the temps seem to be ok, Unfortunately the increments are too large in bios to make me want to play but its 1/3 faster at the moment so im reasonably happy.

warm regards

Spot on Freakshow!, The D915 may have as much Ghz as a small country and produce as much heat as a supernova but my boys quiet, confident, cool and efficient E6750 blows its socks off in first gear without breaking a sweat,Its like bringing a knife to a gun fight.(All C2D's have the legs on it). I never attempted to compete with any C2D.

However the D915 can still kick it on the latest games(@ 3.6Ghz anyway) but the main reason im happy is that i got an extra 40% performance over stock speed, My ocing kudos level has gone up a notch but my carbon footprint is the size of Alaska.

warm regards
