A few years back, when I stared taking Micromart regularly instead of once or twice a year to check on the availability and prices of equipment, there used to be a News from Micromart Towers column. More recently I was rather disturbed to notice that you have now been confined to a shed .Couldn't you keep up the payments on the Towers?
Cheers,
John.

| It's simple economics They moved from Birmingham to London. Rent of a sumptuous penthouse suite of offices in a Birmingham Tower block = rent of a shed on the roof of similar office block in London. That, and the cost of the daily courier service delivering pork scratchings, Lamb Balti and proper Bitter in pint glasses to keep Simon from getting homesick during the week.

Proper bitter? Geroff. bj, Brum does not do proper bitter. As for the shed, I have it on good authority that the shed is in the basement, complete with all modern instruments of torture, as in vending machines that only take tokens, sold by Dennis at a suitable markup. We will not mention the treadmills...

oldphart (23/05/2008) [quote]BJM (22/05/2008) We will not mention the treadmills...Is this the rumour that the treadmills are connected to dynamos which power the office machines. If they don't pedal hard enough the power dies and the work is lost.?This also explains why the forum falls over occasionally , the hamster powering the server is either asleep or dead.
Cheers, Keith.
