Alan: Give CCleaner a try on your Windows machine. The only forum cookie I have saved is listed as forum.micromart.co.uk and I don't get any of these problems, but am always logged in

If this cures it, or helps with it, then we've got a better idea of where to look

tippon, I have used CC on windows and it has made no difference, as the problem also affects my Linux machines it will be interesting to find a solution.
Martin reed, I did say probably 90% and as it affects IE7, Opera & FF , I doubt trying Safari will make any difference.
I do not have this problem on other forums, but this was the first one I joined and happens to be my favourite, so this logging in problem is really annoying.

I had the same problem, I sorted it by ticking the 'Remember me' check box before I enter my login details. It worked for me !

i also have had this problem in the past. not sure what cures it as i always have the 'remember me' ticked but on occasion it still happens.

i also agree that unhelpful comments shouldn't be psoted and maybe should be removed. if you dont believe you can actually help with your comment then dont post it. sure if it obviously a discussion type thread okay but not in response to people's questions.

I've been suffering the same problem over the past few days but it has stopped appearing today after I changed the Privacy settings in Firefox and clicked the 'Remember Me' tick box.

I'm actually a little distressed that I'm having to make this post, but it does appear to me at this time that many replies are being made in topics which not only add nothing to the content of the topic but border on general unfriendliness.[/quote]

I very much agree with this last comment CC.

I dont get it, things come and go in our society, vogue behaviour, I guess you can call it.

This forum now has a darker side to it. Baiting also takes place.

You only have to visit the Nvidia forum to see what a laugh those guys are and how they help each other out in good humor.

It used to be like it on here.

Any way, enough said.
