OK so it's still two weeks away (doesn't start till June 9th), but I can't wait! So, put your entries in for your WWDC 08 predictions! Make them as outrageous as you like

I'll start with...

1) A Newton-esque device as thin as the iPhone but larger screen and all the multi-touch goodness obviously.
2) 3G iPhone I'd bet on it.
3) New LED based cinema displays.

Your turn...

Yeah I really wish they would update the Mac mini's! They are great little machines but haven't had an update in quite a while!

I was looking at some on eBay and they go for ridiculous prices, even old G4 ones so I don't believe that they aren't popular.

New iMacs and new Macbooks.

Why? I'd hope they'd put the ATi HD3xx0 series in, which run cooler than the HD2xx0 series

Buying software from us [Microsoft] is like buying a music CD. You have the right to play the music, but you don’t “own” the music – the artist does. When you buy Microsoft software, you actually buy a licence that gives you the right to use the software.

They have already updated the iMacs only a couple of weeks ago and I may be wrong but I think they have the gfx cards in that you mention??

I was browsing earlier, only seen mention of the nVidia 8800GS being an option now

Ah, just took a look and it's the ATi HD 2600 Pro card they come with.

I just came across this article on Cnet as well silly WWDC predictions are always good! I like the Apple alarm clock idea

The clearing of the shelves of current iPhones suggests a new model will be released ahead of WWDC, rather than at it.

It's been speculated that Apple may be releasing a handheld games console, but if so, I reckon it's unlikely to be like the DS and PSP. More like a Newton with a heavy emphasis on gaming, with the games downloadable through the iTunes store would be more like it.

If so, I must get one!
