I think it's an absolute certainty that if you wait, they won't release new models and if you don't wait they definately will!

Personally I would wait, what's another two days? And if they bring out a better model you will just be kicking yourself.

your right Pixel Kid, im 110% sure im going to get shafted post WWDC08

anyway...i went to town and bought a MacBook, 2.4GHZ C2D, 2GB, 250GB HDD, Super Drive.
After i bought it the missus wanted to go to Curries to get an Mp3 player, I ended up walking out of Currys with a 1.8GHZ Mac Book, 512,60 for £400 which i bought for the missus.

im a bit skint now,

so far imloving my MacBook, slowly getting used to the smaller screen but its speed makes up for that.

Haha! Well, now you have new toys to play with and I suppose you could argue it's better to have something new today and be happy with it than be waiting for something that may not arrive for quite a while Now that you've gone and splashed out it guarantee's new laptops will come out probably a whole new design, twice as thin, half as heavy, and packed with more features for less money, great news for the rest of us!

£400 for the other Macbook is a good price!

that £400 MB was a great bargain, installed Leopard on it (came with Tiger) and is running really well. This is the GF's first Mac, shes switching for same reasons as everyone else and its quite interesting seeing her get to grips with OSX.
