Well with DDR2 800 that gives a maximum FSB of 400.
E4500 multiplier is 11, so that's 4.4Ghz
Like that's going to happen
3 Ghz will be easy, anything after that is a bonus really.
I've seen examples on the net of 3.5 and 3.6Ghz.
As you have plenty of headroom, there's no harm in trying.

| Thanks Ricedq, 4.4Ghz in my dreams but 3.0Ghz is what im aiming for, My Crucial memory is 667Mhz so i still have headroom enough, The only problem is that i will have to put the Central heating on in my room now as the D915 normally heats up the whole house. warm regards

| 3.2 Ghz is easy to reach with 3rd party cooling. Anything much higher is very unlikely. There has been quite a few threads on this forum on OCing a p5k with a C2D E4500, alternatively your could try: http://forums.hexus.net/hexus-hardware/110267-c2d-overclocking-guide-beginners-p5k-add.html You can proably achieve 3 Ghz through only tweaking the fsb value in bios without touching vcore. Good luck

| Thanks Conrad101, Im going to take it to a maximum of 3.0ghz hopefully on stock voltages, I have a third party cooler already but i dont want to bump the vcore up too much, I just hope my 667Mhz crucial memory can take it. warm regards

-Brum- (09/06/2008) 3.3. max and stable. I cant get no more from it. Temps are about 55c at idle though.
What's your vcore to get 3.3 Ghz? 55c at idle is a bit high. 3.3 Ghz and my computer was teetering on the edge of oblivion.
