Is it just firefox, When I'm on the website the Kaspersky advert is obscuring some of the text.
I'd had high hopes a magazine that always promotes firefox could get it's own website in order!
No I can't you internet explorer, as following your articles I've ditched windows for Linux.

I'm using Firefox with Hardy Heron and this is one site that works well.
Some have a few problems.

EDIT. Are you sure that your graphics card is set up correctly?

Do you have the AdBlock Plus addon?

It's very useful

No problems at all here, using Firefox on either Mandriva or XP.
Oh, and no problems with Firefox on my brand-new eeepc either.

Apart from the chatroom and intermitant spell checker problems, the rest of the forum including the Kaspersky add at the top of the forum displays perfectly for me using Firefox in Windows, Ubuntu, Kubuntu and Mandriva.

Are there any other webpages on other site's that show a the same problem?

I've tried www.micromart.co.uk on firefox in K/Ubuntu 8.04 both display the home page with the Kaspersky ad obscuring the text, bottom left hand side.

Using firefox and IE7 in Vista the Kaspersy ad is still "too wide for it's column" but the text is displayed over the top of the ad.

Using Konqueror in Kubuntu all is fine, mainly because the ad doesn't show up! Coulld be a flash thing.

I doubt it is a setting on my PC as I've not seen such a problem anywhere else.

Dave.
