Give it a go if you haven't tried it. It is very good indeed and incredibly responsive compared to IE7/8 and Firefox. I tried Flock too, and although it has got some great features, I just want a browser that is quick to open and responsive and Safari certainly ticks all the boxes there, even though it is a little sparse of features and add-ons. (But it has a grammar and spell check, so that is really all I need)

Remember, it is also devoid of numerous security features aswell.

I tried the first beta and quickly uninstalled it. FF does the job for me

Each to their own. Flock was too complicated for me, maybe I'm just set in my ways.

Personally, I quite like Safari - as long as its on a Mac.
It doesn't look and feel quite right on Windows.

It's an interesting read that site. I must admit, reading the article in MM this week, I found it hard to believe that Safari is so poor on security. Apple make such a song and dance about how the Mac is less prone to attack than Windows, that leaving the doors wide open would be commercial suicide. Don't get me wrong, it's clear that Safari is not as secure as others, but I doubt it is as bad as portrayed by the author and it is bound to be addressed soon enough.

Also, I like the look of it and the font smoothing. It doesn't offend me at all. The bookmark bar is very cool and if you alter the font, (I have gone for the Vista Font - Segoe UI 16) it looks a little more pleasing to the eye. But the best thing about it is the lack of bloat. This makes it so much faster than other browsers and that I can very much live with!!! Flock can flock off....it's far far to cluttered and complicated and on a 15" laptop screen, the gadgets and toolbars take up all the space.

Tried it, got on with it for a while then moved to Opera. Much nicer. All the responsiveness without the security flaws.

It's very clunky to use. Like putting on a suit of armour. You need a stable boy or something.
