Your running your ram above spec. It should run at 400MHz. A nice OC on the ram but it could be why your attempts to over clock further fail. Use a different divider to ease the strain on the ram. Drop it to 333MHz.

As Wiz suggests, try slowing the RAM down to bring it within spec. There is seldom any advantage to be had from overclocking memory on slacker timings. The tighter timings that you could then use may give you a measurable increase in performance.

Cheers, Slipstreem.

System specs: "Phoenix" - Intel C2D E4500 overclocked to 3GHz with ACF7Pro HSF on Volt-modded ASRock 775Dual-VSTA mobo (modded BIOS rev 3.10A and VNB=1.65, Vagp=1.8), 2x1GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 RAM (3.0,3,3,8,1T @546MHz), Sapphire ATI HD3870 512MB GDDR4 PCIe graphics card overclocked to 850MHz GPU & 2.4GHz RAM. Powered by Hiper Type-M 580W PSU. Guess who likes overclocking on a budget.

The 5-5-5-15 that cpu-z says your ram is capable of. You may get them tighter if you try too. Just make sure they get the voltage that they require. Some boards do not deliver enough on auto.

I have the following readout now;-  375.0Mhz

                                                 1;1

                                                 5,5,5,14

And in SPD   5,5,5,15   @ 400.

Dont know how to change the timings,One curious prob tho, Found stuff on the desktop which appear to be from Speedfan, When I go to delete the pc crashes and wont boot untill switched right off and un-plugged.  Actually I now think its a file left from the log of Orthos.
