Ok... 3.2 core is a shade over 1.4v cannot find screenshot on vista anyone recommend an app [freeware]

HOLD ON

EIST is not (usually) Thermal Throttling, its just Speedstep which is a different thing. Perhaps they are combined into one on your mobo? I'll grab a copy of your manual and check. But until I do I wouldn't suggest raising your vcore any higher.

OK, its called "CPU Thermal Monitor 2" and its the one above the EIST setting in the bios. Make sure it is enabled.

I realise you could have been joking when you said it was EIST but thought we'd better be safe than sorry.

tried to find in add remove enable but its not in home ;-(

I have disabled EIST so .... she is cooking at the moment at 3.2... cpuz still shows 1900 grrrr!!
