It was easy. I marked up where I wanted them to go...and then asked one of the engineers at work to cut the holes.

Tippon (05/08/2008)
-Wiz!- (05/08/2008)
I can tell you - Just because something has a handle on it does not make it portable! (My old bass amp springs to mind). Everyone who picks it up has a shock...Ways a fair bit.
I can definitely relate to that! Mine's not too bad, but still makes my arm ache after a little while
I've just whipped the side off to see what the temps are like too
Agreed on the bass amp. Can't get it down the road without agony
What bass do/did you play, Wiz?

There are a few guitarists on here, Reminds me of the good old days with my long hair, playing lead guitar in a Metallica covers band while wearing spandex trousers.
Aaaaahh Bisto.

It was that long ago Marten I can't remember. Nothing special though as I was a poor student. The bass amp was a monster though! Cost me £300 second hand.

Mine's a 60W monster that cost £150 about 12 years ago. I've got two basses and a Squier Strat Bass no. 1 is a Tanglewood and bass no. 2 is an Axe - twangy as hell, but sounds fantastic on certain songs

I should not have mentioned the amp...Well and truly hijacked my own thread.
