Running this under Ubuntu 8.04.0 Lts. Checked on it and found it seemed to have stalled, so shut down client with Ctrl+c, then did a reboot. Then got the error message at the end, any idea if this wu can be saved or will I have to reinstall the client? Running on a C2D E8200@3.3Ghz.
Can anyone help with recovering this if it's possible, and what could be the cause of the error. Have attached the relevant section of the log file below. This is the WU in question Project: 2605 (Run 16, Clone 408, Gen 78)
Cheers.

| you need QFIX from the 3rd party tools list, not a clue how it runs in linux but in windows you place the exe file in your folding folder , open a cmd prompt cd to the folding folder and run the qfix command, should show a list and say if item x has been repaired. http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=52

Thanks Spike. Found the file and instructions how to use it http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1118 Pretty similar to Windows it seems. Would not work for me because every time I went to get into the relevant folder through theTerminal window it said the file or folder did not exist, but it does I can see it. Looks like I'm gonna have to lose this WU with a fresh install of the smp client. Will knock the oc back as was getting lost pixels and slow refresh when scrolling on browser (using on board graphics for now) Cheers

the path used has to be exact and terminate at folder level , there is also the major PITA known as qgen which might work but really is a pita

Apologies for the delay replying. Am fairly new to Linux and have been using the "Linux in Easy Steps" book by Mike Mc grath. I did get to folder level with a different file but it wouldn't find the folding file. Didn't fancy that other one (qgen) if you think it's a PITA then I will find it impossible! Have done a new install and it is currently running OK on 93% of a 2605 unit. Thanks for the advice though.
Cheers
