full link posted so people know this is not an personal advertisement.
actually it seems to be spelt LinuxExpo Live?
LinuxExpo Live will focus on the benefits of open source to all companies from large enterprises through to SMEs, showcasing just how much the technology and service levels have developed over the last two years.
There has been an increasing awareness of the penetration of Linux and open source in general, now there is a market that has been slowly maturing and needs information, needs to see how open source can benefit them and needs to talk to experts to gain knowledge and, just as importantly, reassurance.
The event aims to pick up where the likes of LinuxWorld Expo left off, but add far more to the mix, in order to encourage new adopters of Linux and other open source offerings, for their business solutions, rather than preach to the converted.
With this in mind, given the growing interest from the Mac developers and creative industries in general, the event is collocated with CreativePro Expo and MacLive Expo.
LinuxExpo Live has it's own website at www.linuxexpolive.co.uk, however registration and latest news will be handled through the CreativePro Expo site.

I'd love to if it was in the NEC, where the original was scheduled for.
Olympia? Sorry, too much hassle.

Ah! so there is an advantage?
I still wouldn't bother I really can't stand London-had to spend a lot of time in various parts of it over the years.

Hi Mob453
I just went through the registration process and I'm currently awaiting my 'Guest' badge for the 'MACLIVE' exhibition. Guess I'm going to be barred from future 'OH limp here' promotions (not a patch on the NEC, hope they redevelop it as a swimming venue for 2012 Olympics)
I went back over the web screens and sure enough I had selected the LinuxExpo.
But I'm still awaiting my guest pass for the MACLIVE exhibition.
Other users beware, unless of course you really fancy visiting the MACLIVE exhibition.
Mob453, it's not your fault, I guess the LinuxExpo was over subscribed, but they've still got to fill the MACLIVE exhibition.
Guess it's the credit crunch.
Saying that that my missus was told she could have a £24,300 unsecured loan the other day from our Bank, I shudder to think what the figure might have been if she'd got a full time job..
The moral is: Don't believe all you read or see and hear on the news, and its not unknown for promoters to re-route a link from a popular show with affordable merchandise to another show with more expensive wares.
