Just had a nosey at Ebuyers site and saw this advertised. At the price it seems good, but wonder how it would compare with the usual suspects(overclocked) from Intel, as I'm not really into overclocking. Seems to have all the necessary slots, and I've got PCI-e cards I can use, plus new HD etc so OK for spares I'd need to complete it. Any opinions welcome.....the free postage and the 3year/1 year onsite warranty grabbed my attention.......

| Well it's an E8400, and they're £110 on their own! Look at the user reviews before buying as there are gotchas - quite a few of them.

Wouldn't touch it myself. Too many gotchas. Nice price, though.

A nice CPU and a not particularly ugly case for £140 !
Keep the mobo and RAM for spares, slap a decent X38 in it instead and it's show time!

Hmmm!....should have read the gotchas, but as Jason said the price is good, hadn't seen the downside with the graphics card....slots reversed and PCI-e x1, that'll teach me to read the small print (reviews)...Back to the drawing board I guess......

Generally speaking, if you see something advertised as a "server" and you want a "PC" it's best avoided.
