Have you seen the temperatures / power consumption at full tilt? Put one in the handbag and you'll never need a kettle again, just a pot to put on top At last something for AMD to cheer about.

Psh, this can be used to their advantage I'm sure. Just come up with an elaborate water loop that also makes coffee with the hot water.

| Prices are way above what I expected but give it a month to cool down (not literally - I know the card gets hot!) as supply gets better...seen it at £380...whereas some expected £299-£325. Its def going on as a contender for my all new uber gaming rig for September, perhaps with an overlocked Q9550 and a P45 motherboard and 24" monitor bit OTT for most people, but I just can't resist have a decent high end gaming system (alongside a budget energy saving system for web browsing / office)

Any more than £300 and it's overpriced, in my opinion.

| What blows me away is that if you are nutty enough to get x2 of the 4870x2s then your looking at a floating point of 5 teraflops. That is wild when you think back 12 months you where looking at a conceivable 1 teraflop. Where next I wonder???????????
A tearfull Merry Christmas to all forumties? Why: My Wife is leaving me for a Limbo Dancer. I ask you Guys how low can you go.
