Have just bought WindowsXP 32bit with SP3 included and noticed a difference between the previous version, with SP1 and SP2. Basically it is describing the installation with OPK (OEM Preinstallation Kit), and the previous versions I've bought have never mentioned it. Reading the license agreement doesn't clarify much either, as just says it is not needed for server applications. Checking out MS website shows the OPK costs £23 at usual outlets, or can be applied for online at MS......

Hiya!
If you're just installing XP on your own build, don't worry about it. Have a look at this
page
on the M$ site. Essentially it allows system builders to install a 90-day trial of Windows office and to customise the OS with branding etc. Only really useful if you are building PC's for other people as a business venture.
