| I use Webroot firewall (free) and spybot S & D for Malware, and Avast for Antivirus, I noticed today that when i updated Spybot, it would not immunize over a 100 items, so I updated the programme and it crashed Webroot, (not that unusual if you know the programme,) after various attempts, it got worse, now it is reading 21,000 things it won't immunize. After looking at the log file it seems that it does not cover the web browser, Flock. It's Webroot that crashes at the drop of the hat. Any ideas of a plan to immunize said computer, with flock on it? Thanks in advance.

Have you got Spybot 1.6.1.
Take off the old and put on the new.

| i would suggest using something like revo uninstaller to get rid of spybot as it searches your pc for bits left over after uninstall so you can then re-install spybot knowing that there are no leftover traces to cause problems. whether it will remedy the problem i dont know but worth a try.
