Someone's not impressed by Canonical ?
More seriously, it reveals a defect in Ubuntu's approach of desperately producing kernel patches, rather than taking a stronger role in the kernel itself.
(Edit PS, on the other hand, their volunteer developers are not Canonical employees so won't be contributing to Canonical's score.)
