There is the option to rate a topic, on the right hand side towards the top is an option saying 'Rate This Topic', you can assign a number of stars depending on how good you think the thread is!

ive always bought the magazine for about 14 months now, but have only payed 2 visits so far to the forum. first immpressions are good, ive posted two problems for users to look at and had good answers to my questions. overall i think a well thought out site with a lot to learn reading articles and problem pages etc. keep up the good work. ps makes a change to get on a quality site without been charged for it so respect for that

I'm sure you could get more than 28kbps. What is your ISP?? Phone-Line with who?? If it's with BT, then you can ask for a Gain Line to be done, free.

Akkers, a little info for you. Ben says he has a line splitting device. This means you CANNOT get more than 28k down the line. BT are quite sneaky in this respect, where phone requirements are at a premium, they can and do split every copper line into 2 electronically. There was legislation about the amount of info a line can carry, and it was increased, but not above 28k. The only way Ben can improve things is to go broadband (which may not be to his taste).
