Hi all, I'm trying to play BF:BC2, but Punkbuster keeps kicking me after only a couple of minutes because of the following error; Losing key packets 9005. I then get banned for 2 mins. Up until monday evening everything was working fine, then the misses 'accidentally' switched off the extension lead knocking out my computer, router, TV and a couple of other things. Since then I've been getting the error. Windows did throw a fit when it booted back up and after 3 or 4 restarts (much swearing and threats of the skip), it seemed to be behaving.

I think i can safely rule out the router because I'm at work at the mo using a mobile BB modem (3) and the problem still persists.

I tried updating both Punkbuster and BF:BC2, but I don't know where to go now.

I also googled the problem but most of the answers pointed to high demand on the ISP's network (with BT by the way), but I could play BF:BC2 all day at home and not suffer any lagging what so ever (thats with the kids on iplayer as well), so I can't see that being a issue and I have tried at off peak times with the same result

Any suggestions??

good idea!! don't think i'll get away with it though, lol

Edit: Problem solved, I found on the EA forum someone had upped the priority of both punkbusterA and B to high in task manager and this seemed to solve the problem BigGrin
