MICRO MART STATEMENT
For all classified ad users

As some of you have noticed, a few months ago we put a list of addresses in our classified ad pages that we asked you to not have dealings with. These related to someone using the service for fraudulent purposes, and we promised an update when we had something to tell. With that in mind, we now issue the following statement:

‘Following a number of complaints by our readers of fraudulent adverts appearing in Micro Mart magazine, Trinity Publications engaged the services of an external company to investigate these adverts. They concluded that these adverts were the result of two individuals working together. A report was passed to the Police and in the last two weeks two arrests have been made. For legal reasons we cannot comment any further and a further
update will be published in due course.’

Micro Mart will absolutely not tolerate people abusing the classified ad service, and we’re proud of the minimal number of problems that have arisen in over eighteen years of offering the service. We will have further updates as soon as we are legally able.

it's really re-ssuring that there is such a thing as these free ad's, and even nicer to know that when someone does attempt to take advantage, people *do* something about it.

as it says in that yellow pages ad:"your'e very, very nice people. thank-you" !

Yer is nice to know your sorting these people out, I got ripped off with some software, I sent a brand new copy of Windows XP Pro, and £50 in exchange for a graphics card, cheque he sent bounced and never saw the graphics card, email address was then deleted, if you ever get contacted by a Hassan, email address was hassanlondon@aol.com STAY AWAY!!!! BE WARNED!!!!

Also Stay away from this guy aswell. Sent him £25 three weeks ago for 2 hard drives (15gb & 20gb seagate). The cheques was cashed a couple of days later and guess what? no HD has arrived. He refuses to respond to my emails. It's not nice being scammed!!!
