Does anyone have an Amiga Emulator that does not need an Amiga to run, as I am looking to go back for a bit of nostalgia to re-play all the classic games like R-Type, new Zealand Story, Speedball 2 and even Shadow Of The Beast

Yes, but it would be cheaper to pick up a second hand A500 I`lll wager.

Amiga Forever from Cloanto should emulate the A500 well enough on a P3 upwards for these to be playable.

Wish this was still true. I gave my A500 with ext Disc Drives (two of), proper monitor (1530? off hand), 1meg memory upgrade (may have been extra 512k card), spare mouse, two joypads, two hard as nails joysticks (proper hammer is what they survived, for hour after hour daily) and all my games too Crying

Had my Technics record deck out from under the bed last night, listening to some old tunes that I'd've played around about the time I had the Amiga on the go and had a real horrible regret at giving it all away Crying

Amiga Forever works a treat I've got it installed on both my media centre (Rig 3) and my laptop (Rig 2) and both run a treat from K240 to Colonization and Stunt Car Racer all nice and smooth. While I've still got my A500 (and my CD32 with it's SX1 expansion as well as two A1200's, one with a 68030 Viper accelerator for that matter) I mainly use the AF.

One word though there are differences between the 2008 and 2009 versions of AF such as the lack of Soccer Kid in the 2009 version (one of the best games that it included and most of the games included being either shareware or coming from the lower rung of the quality/known games ladder).
