All good sites, and great going peeps.  Thanks many!

How about free learning sites that are genuine - for TCP/IP, C++, Java and other programs that are out there worth learning about?.

Anyone know of any?

Comodo freeware site verification engine for on line identity assurance and fraud protection;

http://www.vengine.com/

A lovely little programme that gives you a green border to a secure page - ideal for online banking.

Never had one yet but the border shows red if a web page isn't what it purports to be.

Apart from an extra icon in the tray, you wouldn't know it was installed.

Sorry, posted this elsewhere - didn't see this post (Thanks boywonder) !

I just thought I'd recommend Allsnap by Ivan-Heckman.

It's small program that snaps windows together.  By default it always snaps them together but I have it set so if I press the control key and move/resize a window it will line-up exactly with other windows, the screen centre (vertical/horizontal) or the window's centre.

I find it very useful for aligning tool windows, my TV card display etc. and any situation where you need more than one window on the screen at once.

Well worth a free download !

Ooops! Didn't know. Thanks to smifff then.
(I was thanking Wasbit for the link which he posted in another thread.
I didn't want to claim any credit.)
